Responsibilities
As HSE Engineer is supporting the Affiliate HSE Manager in the preparation and management of all Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects of all Affiliate’s activities including activities before, during and after the drilling campaign carried-out by Contractors, Subcontractors and Company to ensure the personnel safety, respect for the environment and reputation of the Company.
The job holder is in charge of:
Developing a fair knowledge of Total referential;
Keeping track of laws and Regulations updates and compliance by the affiliate by regularly keeping updated a dedicated regulatory compliance register and adequately advising the HSE Manager of any relevant updates;
Keeping track of Affiliate HSE actions progress by regularly keeping updated a dedicated HSE Master Tracking Register;
Drafting/revising HSE procedures and work instructions related to the Affiliate (HSE training plan, health plan, PPE, PTW, reporting, incident treatment etc.);
Organizing HSE trainings (internal and external, in-room and e-learning) for the Affiliate’s personnel in line with Affiliate HSE training plan;
Preparing the required tracking and monitoring HSE tools, forms, inductions etc.;
Providing HSE inductions training sessions (to staff, visitors...)
Participating to the review of the HSE section of technical offers in scope of call-for-tenders;
Participating to the review of the HSE studies required in scope of permitting (EBS, EIA, OSCP, HAZID,TRA etc.) and for some of them following-up their readiness up to Affiliate Approval;
Keeping track of the HSE performance (incident, anomalies, environmental, etc.) of contractors by regularly keeping updated a dedicated register and preparing HSE performance reports;-In charge of Synergi
Planning and Participating to HSE audits (internal and external);
Proposing and drafting HSE campaigns for the Affiliate (, Golden rules, etc.)on line with the country chair
Proposing and drafting HSE REX;
Participating to incident investigation when requested and reviewing incident reports;
Interfacing with the rig HSE team in order to align and or bridge HSE procedures when required (for this applicable onboard rig during operations);
Participating to the preparation of the post-drilling environmental survey and following the report up to Affiliate Approval;
Organizing the Affiliate HSE documentation record (hard and soft) as per internal rules;
Acting as operation safety leader during exploration activities
As CLO is supporting the Affiliate HSE Manager in the preparation and management of all Societal aspects of all Affiliate’s activities including activities before, during and after the drilling campaign carried-out by Contractors, Subcontractors and Company .He is a bridge between Total and the community, insuring continuous dialogue with stakeholders.
Supporting the implementation of the Affiliate stakeholder communication and engagement plan and the follow-up of stakeholders’ request
Maintaining and updating list and mapping of key stakeholders and opinion leaders
Facilitating the implementation of all ESIA related plans and programs
Implementing and reporting on Societal Management Plan
Receiving and processing community grievances in compliance with TEP Liban Management system
Disseminating TEPĀ country information campaigns within impacted communities and providing feedbacks
Developing adapted communication material to illustrate activities and mitigation actions
Recording of events, Issues, concerns, grievances details and reporting on them regularly
