Duties and Functions General Management • Preparation and implementation of the country strategy, business plan and budget. • Development of portfolio and investment plan. • Human relations including government and labor affairs. Procedures • Implement and maintain Company procedures. Project Acquisition • Develop and maintain excellent client contacts. • Compile market general data and trends. • Establish key figures of business plan. • Initiate and follow up tendering activities. Project Execution • Decide on organization for the execution of projects with emphasis on safety and environment, time, quality and budget. • Control Legal Issues. Human Resources Management • Be an excellent team player and people manager. • Develop Area Organization in Branch office and project teams. • Propose Salaries and Bonuses within budget. • Responsible local affairs management. • Authorize hiring and terminations. Controlling and Reporting • Maintain internal procedures. • Permanent awareness regarding key figures and risk management. • Timely reporting to the HO in Riyadh.
Responsibilities The Area Manager is responsible for the turnover and profit of the Business Unit Qatar. The activities are managed from the Branch Office in Doha and involve the business development, project acquisition, Project execution, handover and operation & maintenance as required. The responsibilities also include the equipment yard.
