| Responsibilities |
- Develop a cordial relationship with the firm’s bankers.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of bank financing for projects and deposits.
- Ensure that all obligations are settled on time and a record is kept continuously updated.
- Develop a cordial relationship with the firm’s regulators and relevant authorities.
- Stay up-to-date on all the Regulators’ and Authorities’ Circulars.
- Ensure timely reporting to Regulators and Authorities.
- Prepare the firm’s Annual Budget, which is to be reviewed and adjusted semi-annually.
- Produce monthly comparisons between the actual and budgeted financials and explain significant variances.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the firm, its Funds, subsidiaries and affiliated companies.
- Maintain a close dialogue with the firm’s Auditors and ensure that the needed financial statements are produced in a timely manner.
- Develop a close working relationship with Senior Managers within the firm.
- Provide timely support and information to other Departments, as deemed appropriate.
- Oversight and mentoring of Department’s staff as their integration in the department / firm is of high priority.
- Selection and recommendation of appropriate training courses for Department members.
