Duties and Functions - Assisting product manager in making, updating and implementing marketing strategies and plans and make sure that these are consistent and adjusted to current market situation and to the overall strategic objectives for the com-pany. - Idea Generation, planning and implementation of marketing activities. Ensure an all year round level of activities that are innovative and pro-active vis-a-vis competitor activities. - Assist the product manager in coordination of brand & marketing activities - MEMRB reports for all brands and products and inform MEMRB if data does not look accurate or correct. Present MEMRB findings to the management and sales departments. - Implement trade marketing activities and secure that trade activities are optimized in relation to cost and campaign objective. Follow up on results of trade marketing activities. - Propose and secure implementation of in-store activities, including contact to promo companies, timing, promotion materials, coordination with sales dept. etc. - Follow market development through frequent market visits in the whole of Lebanon and inform sales dept. if the situation in the market is not as it should be (displays, OOS, prices, gondolas, POS materials, merchandising etc.). - Monitor competitor activities and prepare monthly report on competitor activities and with action proposals. - Responsible for all branded items, i.e. demo tables, POS materials, truck de-signs, promo items, give-away items etc. - Responsible for keeping the sales handbook up to date - Conduct surveys on the request of the marketing manager - Ad hoc tasks on demand from marketing manager - Control ECP prices minimum once per month and make sure that ECP prices are within the approved limits of the company. - Coordinate the implementation of trade marketing activities with the sales departments. - Follow up on trade marketing activities in the market and suggest improvements to the sales departments. - Supply the sales departments with the best possible and innovative trade marketing materials. - Follow market development and keep sales department up to date with mar-ket data. - Give training & product knowledge seminars to the sales organization when needed, this is a must for all new employees of the company. - Marketing activity reports for all marketing activities to be approved by Mar-keting Manager and GM. - Marketing evaluation reports after each activity. - Cooperation with sales teams. - Co-responsibility of wholesale promoter: secure offers, coordinate routing plan and information gathering - Assist the marketing manager in suggesting and organizing day-outs with the sales teams - Work towards managing a brand as product manager Succes Factors Key measures indication the results, outcomes or functions of this job - Increase in market shares - Increase in brand awareness - Increase in product trial - Improvement in consumer brand perception - High rate of innovative and successful BTL & ABTL campaigns - Successful product launches - No delays in campaigns or product launches - Innovative NPD project list - Adherence to company procedures & guidelines and legal compliance - Live and promote Lead, Sense, Create
Responsibilities Assist the Marketing Manager in planning, directing and controlling the operation of the marketing department of the company to ensure that agreed short and long term business targets are met and that the corporate image, brands and products are protected and further developed.
