Duties and Functions • To develop a strong market expertise in all products categories To be a main actor in collaboration with the stores managers in optimizing the product performance within the network • To ensure brand coherence within the country • To bring feedback to HQ of local specificities & opportunities and propose action plan ► To achieve such target the marketing manager will have under its direct responsibility following functions: • product knowledge and sales analyses (in-store trainer & product correspondent) • visual implementation ( Visual merchandising) • in-store events (Communication) • customer knowledge ( CRM and customer surveys) 2.4. Main task description A. Market & Customer knowledge • Market  Follows the market trend in all product categories  Checks the competition & informs  Identifies new opportunities of development for the company  Works closely with the General Manager on new stores potential • Local clientele  According to market surveys led by the zone, implements the right and relevant action plan  Leads required customer surveys in order to better understand customer needs and satisfaction, brand positioning in Paris, network opportunities …..  Uses the database to analyse the local customer behaviour to the brand & to the products  Supervises the client book implementation B. Product offer management • Ensure the integrity of brand image and take part in the marketing/product strategy in order to monitor/anticipate the changing potential markets • propose store product offer in evaluating the potential with the necessary analyses • Understand, legitimate, Control the product offer in all stores & propose change if necessary to achieve better accuracy to the market & profitability of the offer • Understand the constraints of product availability & arbitrages which has been done centrally & Share positively the information to the network in order to ensure the best reaction • Participate with the Merchandiser in the buying plan and ensure that the products are in line with and appropriate to the targeted expectations • Attends (or Supervises local attendees) to buying session ( shoes & RTW) C Sales optimisation • Organise the implementation in store of new lines or new categories & ensure integrated marketing plan with SC/VM/CRM/media etc • Analyse the results of sales by product category & evaluate qualitatively product response to the market • Implement sales objectives & follow up • Challenge the results • Organise action plan to give maximum chance to sale-out the product ( such as training, previews, challenge, CRM action, in-store events / “End of life” plan, transfers • Ensure the local animation are communicated centrally & in coherence with the global challenge planning if any • Identify local needs and potential on product under allocation ( Leather good & accessories) & propose action plan • Reacts on any opportunities to grow turn over • Brings constant supports to stores/ identifies problems /brings corporate solution D VM & Store layout • Ensure Visual merchandiser follows the guidelines of the brands and in the same time integrate local commercial issues • Check impact of VM on the sales • Follow contractors to achieve the best Quality/ Price ratio • Observes store lay out in regards to consumer behaviour & proposes solution E Other • Prepares training program according to new products launch or weaknesses identified through “statiscopie“ or sales trends • Consolidates qualitative info and feed back to HQ F Communication PR  Optimizes collaboration with PR (product placement) Advertising  Controls and validates selection of visuals run for advertising campaigns. CRM  Adapts at the country and store level the CRM strategy according to the local specificities.  Follows the recommended targets/CRM campaigns and adapts by store.  Involves the store managers in the CRM campaign/action plan (i.e. : share ROI)  Supervises & controls customer data at each store level (address, phone, e-mail) Entry rates/store to bench mark.  Updates regularly the running of the client book  Develops appropriate partnerships to recruit (Amex- private banking – luxury cars …)  Defines & coordinates the actions for specific in store-events such as launch of products – previews etc…  Negotiates with suppliers, controls the cost of events and return on investment ( ROI) Follow the impact of each CRM action and feedback to the zone
Responsibilities • Manages a team of 2 people and his main role will be: • To develop a strategic vision on local market and clientele. The candidate will be the right-hand man of the Country Manager

He will be able to plan, co-ordinate, anticipate and follow up on market needs, finding solutions to problems and reporting regularly to the Country Manager.
